SOFT WARE ENGINEER VISION SYSTEM
We require an experienced software engineer for our ongoing product development and support activities with emphasis on real time Windows applications and USB Interface drivers. We are bringing innovative products to the market and have an ongoing requirement for customised Host software to support our small and mid size gauging systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or Computer Science with several years postgraduate and/or industrial experience in image processing applications. Our development environments include Visual C++, Borland Builder C++ and Tornado VxWorks with emphasis on real time applications, TCP/IP and USB based communications. This is an ideal position for a motivated individual to apply his/her expertise to the challenges in making vision work for the end user. You will be working with the latest megapixel CMOS sensor arrays, high speed FPGA based signal processors and real time application software to provide reliable end-user products. We are a small company, but pride ourselves in providing our employees with the tools and facilities they need to do their best work with minimum supervision and unnecessary interruptions The user applications comprise the operator interface and the underlying algorithms for extracting geometric measurements from image data of various formats. Our development activities are targeted at new sensor types and application markets which require new user interfaces, image processing and calibration routines. Product/R&D Engineer
We require an experienced Engineer to support our existing products and be a part of the team developing new ones. The individual will be: Responsible for all aspects of one or more products including: · Manufacturing processes and schedules · Integration test · Customer liaison · Problem solving · New features/versions The individual should be experienced in one or more of the following fields:
· Hands-on assembly of precision electro-mechanical systems · Design of precision mechanical systems · System integration and Test of complex computer hosted systems · Measurement systems . Optics · Software & hardware . Auto CAD . ISO 9000:2002 Procedures
This is a hands-on position in a small company environment with opportunity limited only by the candidate. The ideal candidate will have a University Degree, BCIT or similar diploma in Robotics or Electronics with several years of experience in a high technology manufacturing environment.
