The opportunity:

Responsible for final assembly, integration and test of precision laser based measuring systems for industrial applications. Development and test of prototype scanner systems and liaison with customers in the Beta test phase. Occasional (5% time) travel to customer sites for installation and service support. The applicant must be proficient in mechanical and electrical assembly, computer and system integration troubleshooting.

We are looking for:

• Methodical and organised approach to tasks
• Above average skills in mechanical and electrical system integration and a broad knowledge of computer systems and software applications.
• Keen interest in the product, how it works, and pride in meeting customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will be a university or college graduate in Mechanical, Robotics or Electronics Technology with several years experience in a high technology manufacturing or industrial controls environment.

The applicant should be familiar with one or more of the following: Solidworks, Matlab, Visual C++, or RTOS.
